Listening Circles of Inclusion (2nd Thursdays)

On the second Thursday of every month between 6:30-8:00 pm EST, World Event Center partners with Community Justice Alternatives of Durham Region (CJADURHAM) to present Listening Circles of Inclusion and everyone is welcome!

Listening Circles of Inclusion sessions arose to address a need identified by our staff/interns & volunteers at Community Justice Alternatives of Durham Region with respect to Anti-Black Racism in our communities following the murder of George Floyd (October 14, 1973 – May 25, 2020) in Minneapolis.  Please see our statement of June 3, 2020.

Our Circles have expanded to address systemic barriers for many people and topics have included White Fragility and its Impact on Anti-Black Racism, Rethinking Education, Untold Black Canadian History, and Intersectionality to name a few and 2021 topics are listed but subject to change to meet societal issues.

Please feel free to share this invitation with anyone you feel appropriate and please reach out at any time if you have any questions or would like to know more about Community Justice Alternatives of Durham Region please contact:
